Independent Menswear Company - The IMC Group

The IMC Buying Group is a consortium of independent menswear retailers who combine their buying expertise to maximise margins. Consisting of over 100 members, the main events are the biannual IMC Buyers Weekends where carefully selected suppliers are invited to exhibit, allowing members to buy from them with preferential terms. The IMC Group has been serving menswear independents across the UK for over 30 years.

The IMC Group traces its origins back to 1981 when menswear advisor Norman Highton proposed that independent retailers collaborate to enhance their purchasing power.
